Asian Pacific Community Fund – Verizon Scholarship Awards Program
$10,000 in Scholarship Awards Available to High School Seniors!
The Asian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon to financially assist students in pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. These awards will support those who excel academically, are leaders amongst their peers, and are making a positive impact in their communities.
Ten – $1,000 Awards Available
- Students who are residents of California, Oregon or Washington OR students who plan to attend college in one of those states
- High School seniors who plan to enroll as a 1st year college student in a U.S. accredited 4-year college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking student majoring in math, engineering, or a science in the Fall of 2013
- Students who have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0

The scholarship awards may only be used to cover the cost of attending an accredited 4-year college/university. What is considered cost of attendance varies by institution.
